Contribuisci feedbackDelicioso! Traditional Colombian cuisine very tasty. There is a lot of variety for those who don't always like the same meals. very good service with special attention since our birthday. As a Colombian, I recommend this restaurant for all those who expect typical Colombian foods, but also for those who have never tried this kind of food before. this is the place to try for the first time a lot of information in their menu with pictures! Thank you, jenny.
I loved everything about this restaurant - the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and most of the dishes are gluten-free, which is perfect for me as I have celiac disease.
This Colombian restaurant is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere and unique decor featuring souvenirs from Colombia. The waitress was friendly and accommodating, even customizing a vegetarian option for me. The menu is gluten-free friendly, with most dishes made from plantain or maize flour. We enjoyed refreshing drinks like Lulo and Mora-Blackberry juice. For appetizers, we tried the Patacon, Pan de Bono, and various empanadas, with the Patacon being our favorite. The salty plantain with meat, avocado, and salsa was a delicious combination. Our main dish, a vegetarian plate with rice, beans, plantains, and salad, was also tasty. Although we were too full for dessert, we will definitely be returning to try more of their traditional Colombian dishes. Overall, this restaurant is a rare find in our area and worth a visit for authentic Colombian cuisine.
I had such a pleasant surprise at this restaurant. I decided to dine here tonight based on a recommendation from Google cards, as it had many positive reviews. I would recommend making reservations for larger groups, as this cozy spot only seats 32 people. The menu is straightforward and incredibly tasty, giving off a cozy home-cooked vibe. The service I received was exceptional, with our waiter being respectful, charming, and attentive to our needs. Whether you're dining alone, as a couple, or in a group, I'm confident you'll enjoy your meal and experience here. The atmosphere has a lovely Colombian feel, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Plus, it's BYOB!
Having decided to satisfy my cravings, I headed to Tardes Caleñas based on reviews. Food was OK... but I have tasted even better Colombian food elsewhere in Montreal. What really shocked us was the way the owner of the place seemed to be extremely kind to us, but super mean to her employees. She didn't mind yelling or scolding the waitress for the smallest reasons... the whole scene was very uncomfortable. Pricing was really high! Meals at $20ish and $30ish for a little shack in the middle of StHubert... not very coherent... too pricey for what it is.
