Contribuisci feedbackVery delicious and interesting food. Family operated with obvious passion. It was nice to see Grandma, Mom and the kids contributing to success. We will definitely be back.
Came here for their Chopstick Festival menu for 4 people. I am pretty satisfied as this was my first time trying this type of cuisine. My favourite was the lamb on rice dish; the meat paired with the rice very well and was slightly sweet and super delicious. The lamb skewer was really well seasoned and well cooked. The steamed soup dumpling was really unique in texture. The soup that poured out of it had a lot of lamb flavour. The big plate chicken on flat noodle dish was ok. The noodle's texture was awesome and just the right amount of chew. Service was friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
First time trying Uyghur food. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The Lamb Shank and rice was my favourite. The fried noodes was really good too.
First time we dine at this restaurant. The food is unique since we never tried the food from this region of China. I ordered the chicken lagman which is handmade noodle with stir fried chicken and potatoes. The flavour might be spicy for most but I didn't find it spicy. But the flavour does have lots of spices and unique flavour. My husband ordered the polo which is lamb shank with braised rice and raisins and small carrots vegetables side dish. We both didn't like the lamb shank, we find it lacks of seasoning and flavour. The rice is alright though. Each dish is $12.99 so we both find the price is higher than other asian restaurants for the same portion and quality. We'll come back to try other dishes since their food is unique and quite different from other Chinese restaurants.
Gotta give it the five stars!!! This place is the real deal! To start with: What is Uyghur food? The Uyghurs live in Xinjiang in western China, en route of the old Silk Road. Appropriately, their food is an awesome mix of Middle Eastern and Chinese that comes out tasting almost like Mediterranean food, combining noodles with rich cumin and spices, but also fresh tomato, onion and red pepper. after coming back here for the fourth or fifth time and being reminded yet again how good the food is, I had to update my review. All the dishes range from good to awesome. The lamb kebabs are legendary. The laghman is a must-have. Not only is it the most classic western Chinese dish if you're trying to educate yourself, but their version is great, And yes, as some of the reviews mention...it's not fast food! they are clean , they are nice and good culture, Nice to have a Uyghur spot in this area! I wish this very nice family very good luck with their new restaurant!
