We are seniors and have frequented the finest pubs in England in the Lake District (now a world heritage site). We visited Ireland one year and of course wanted to experience the world renowned 'Irish Pubs. ' The ambience and friendliness were superb. The 'pints ' were not bad either Paddy has created this at Mahoney and Sons. We had a Stanley Park, a nice light lager, which was a choice from many micro brews. The plate of chicken wings were shared and the best chicken wings ever. Say hello to Paddy and ask him about the guy who caught the ball at Odlum Brown which gave us our second return to Mahoney and Sons. Location is worth the visit alone. 'Try it, you 'll like it! '
Love this place. Been back several times at all three locations. Good service, good food and the prices may be a little steep but the other things make up for that. However I do miss the cute outfits the waitress were wearing they gave the place that Celtic charm.
Great beer selection, great food, excellent view and fantastic service. Great place to go and people watch
Food and service is great, the sea food chowder is amazing! Would love to see them bring back the beef dip though, I did love that beef dip
