If you're a coffee nerd like I am, I highly suggest getting a siphon brewed coffee. It's quite an expensive cup of coffee but it's more about the experience and the explanation presentation of the brewing method by one of their baristas. Highly recommend visiting this Starbucks. It's unlike any other. Even with the arrival of the Pender Reserve bar, this one has its own personality. Neither of them can be compared to each other because they are excellence in their own ways, despite more or less selling the same product.
We have come here several times already. We always enjoyed eating the house affogato here because only Starbucks Reserve has it. The regular Starbucks doesn 't have one. <br/ <br/ The interior design and ambience are quite classy and upscale, so it attracts different types of customers. The main entrance has a pair of fancy, thick and well design doors. All the Starbucks cups, mugs and any corporate branded items are displayed right in the middle of the space. The menu is on a wall, so it is nice and big enough that people cannot miss it. <br/ <br/ If you come here for a coffee, don 't just order a regular latte or coffee beverages. Order one that is 'reserve '. For example, there is a 'reserve ' latte. Try their special coffee beverages. Grab a seat and enjoy your coffee. <br/ <br/ I brew syphon coffee at home. This Starbucks Reserve sells syphon coffee at $10 for a cup or $25 for 3. If you don 't brew it at home, come here and their baristas brew it right in front of you and explain how they do it. It is very interesting. <br/ <br/ This Starbucks is located at Main Street and 14th. It is very busy all the time. It is harder to find seats or a table. Some students or people sit and work or study for a long time. I had to buy my items and leave a couple of times. I could not sit and enjoy the Starbucks drinks or affogato. I really hoped those people who sat there for a long time should be considerate and leave once they had finished their drinks unfortunately no! : <br/ <br/ This Starbucks doesn’t have a parking lot, so if customers drive, they have to look for street parking. It is more convenient for people who walk or take transit.
The Starbucks Reserve is a well executed idea.<br/ <br/ The ambience is certainly a notch compared to the regular locations. The interior is much more upscale it is a totally different experience than your average Starbucks.<br/ <br/ There are variety of brewing options and elegant presentation of the beverages on Reserve Roastery products.<br/ <br/ This tends to be a busy location, but the lines tend to move quickly.
First time to be here at the reserve store and I ordered my favorite Dark Chocolate Mocha. The place is very spacious and very cozy. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
This location is a more upscale version of your typical Starbucks. Your drink/food comes in more formal dining ware. They offer some higher quality coffee beans with different brewing techniques. Also offer alcohol in the evening. <br/ <br/ A very modern looking place that represents the Pacific Northwest. Decor is wood oriented. <br/ <br/ House Affogato is a big hit. Expresso with a scoop of ice cream served with sparkling water. <br/ <br/ Will definitely be back to try other coffees.
