The Sugar Shack is a quaint restaurant that is not too big, unlike the large commercial huts. They serve homemade ketchup, beets, and all their food is actually homemade. The food was delicious and cooked in the traditional style of their grandmother, not like the boiled potato huts and ham grocery stores. The pea soup was particularly excellent, and the desserts were unforgettable. The service was great, with a friendly lady attending to our needs and a gentleman who showed us how the syrup is made. I highly recommend this place and we have already decided to come back next year. Nathalie, the team from Pure Green Condo, and our French friends all loved our experience at this hidden gem.

This restaurant, owned by a family with excellent recipes, offers home-cooked food made with homemade marinades. It is one of my top 10 sugar shacks in Lanaudière. The atmosphere is family-friendly and the parking with gravel is very convenient. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and located in a beautifully renovated old barn. I have been coming back here for four years and am always satisfied with my experience. Highly recommended.

While traveling in France on New Year's Day, we had the pleasure of enjoying a New Year's dinner at this restaurant. It was truly a fantastic place.
