Bastos - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

During the day, there were changes in tablets or beer glasses were placed. by three times, our glasses to beer had a small fruit fly!!!

I was going to the Hot air Balloon fest today but because of the high winds it got cancelled. So to make a long story short my wife and I were hungry and once again thanks to Tripadvisor I looked for a good restaurant. Well I came on Bastos, to my surprise just from the road you could smell the great food. We had an excellent lunch,staff really great ...let's say it won't be the last time they see me there.

A "leave and caesar" dinner. The sauce is super good, a very different and excellent taste, the very friendly waitresses. I'd go back to it without a problem, especially for the wings and this sauce.

Pleasant atmosphere, great for group of friends, a little noisy but warm. there was a reservation for a group on the day. The service is good and without chichi. servers (es) are polite and courteous. the judgment wants the blow and the prices its reasonable. We share a chicken with two and three. The accompaniment is simple but correct (olives and salad) the piri sauce piri is sufficiently raised without running the firefighters.

We had a chicken to share. Plenty for 3 of us, came with salad and potatoes or fries. Tasty food, friendly staff. It's loud with everyone talking, they could use a bit of soundproofing to make it easier to talk. Good value.
