We’ve enjoyed good meals at Almonds in the past, but last night fell short. Firstly, they never serve bread or crackers with your salad or dinner. When I inquired about the gritty texture of my roasted pork tenderloin, I received no reaction or explanation. I requested that the server check with the chef, and upon her return, she informed me that it was the raspberry in the dish. However, I've had raspberry glazes before and never encountered the sandy texture like this. Ultimately, I stopped eating the pork and switched to my sticky mashed potatoes and green beans, which seem to be the only sides they consistently offer.
We dropped by for happy hour and some appetizers. The service was outstanding, the mixed drink was perfect, and the flatbread was delicious. We had a lovely, peaceful hour together with my husband.
The restaurant has been in operation for 27 years and offers beautifully presented food at reasonable prices. They have an impressive daily selection of dishes. The decor is simple yet intriguing, and there are outdoor seating options available. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
This charming little restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and serves delicious food. We visited for a business dinner and had an excellent experience. The owners were present and incredibly friendly, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our visit.
