Irish Corner Pub - Saint Louis

I was too late. We were greeted by the sweetest employee Georgie the frenchie. We're out of town and the waitress put the TV on our football match while we were there. The best group of people. We had fantastic service from everyone there, the food was great. This is a must to stop when in the area.

Good place. Not unusual. Only a bunch of locals come from work with drinks and food. The food was good. Nice little hangout.

Bang-for-your-buck, this place is amazing. Very inexpensive and great food/cold drinks. My wife said, This is the best shepherds pie I 've EVER had! The owner/bartender/cook, came over to us and talked for a bit. Very friendly guy. Highly recommend the Irish Corner Pub!

My mom and I visited because of the five-star rating, but I don?t know how it got that. The service was slow even though we were two of ten people in the bar. The pub atmosphere is ok, but the fish in my fish and chips was chewy. Four bites was all I could muster and I was done. The batter was fine and the fries were fine, but I was quite disappointed with that fish. My mom had a grilled cheese sandwich, which I also tried, and it was ok, but literally just American single slice and some white cheese I couldn?t make out. The bread was good. This might be a fun place to go for a pint, but the food? Not so much.

Cozy Irish pub with Guiness (what else do you need to serve? and other beers, plus the expected pub fare. I've been several times and it's always been pretty good. Seems to be really popular with the neighborhood regulars.
