It all started with a simple choice 2 meal, seemingly harmless on it even at $9.59, I got half a sandwich and side of the soup, the employee asked if I wanted a pimple spear not to decrypt it costs an additional $1.50! I then ordered a soda, again the employee did not ask what size, not that they have many, with the only sizes too small and too large, but the employee simply charged me automatically for the largest soda I have ever seen in my life at $3.69! Of course, I had to have a cookie so I grabbed one who had a price tag on him, but it's a little cookie that it can't be so much right? Wrong! Of course, as you order, there is no customer ad to show the cost of everything, so in the end my humble 'Choose 2 meal cost a bricked emptying $18.58! I'll never go back to McAlister's Deli, not just because of the prices, but the food was really mediocre!
Nobody works hard here. It took over 50 minutes to go and reactivate my order. They had two tables inside. Should I? ve went to the grocery store and home to cook food in my late lunch break (it was 3 pm). Would you? was faster
Make a delivery order via their app. The order didn't go through, but my card was charged. I called customer service and they said the order was failed and the transaction would not run through. Another order placed on the phone with customer service according to their instructions. The order has failed, but my card has been loaded AGAIN. So I have this money in my account and no lunch. I called the store 3x and nobody took off. Between this incident and the quality of my last 3 commands. I do not recommend ordering them online or via the phone. Maybe you go to the store so if something is wrong, take care of it. Delivery/online order is not reliable.
I ordered online. I wanted to pick up. Managers and employees were cash at the pickup. After they did everything they did, they both ignored me and went back. The employee who packed orders has them back to the pick-up line. She packs my order and then two others. After she ignored me and the person behind me, she cries out, someone has a pick-up order. He comes around me and gets his order and I finally get my order. Not for the first time do I feel that they lacked customer service or organization? Not sure what the problem is. But I know that's not my favorite McAlisters location.
Preface: I don't think this was the workers' faults. They seemed understaffed, which reflects poorly on the management and/or ownership, not them. On a lazy, slow Sunday afternoon (like 2 other people in there when we arrived), two meals took ~45 minutes. When we finally got our food and got tea refills, they didn't add ice--so we sat down to eat with two lukewarm drinks...and then realized we weren't given forks. It would take less time for us to get home and use our own silverware than to wait in line, so we left.
