I had a bit of an issue during my recent visit to this Panera. I had placed an online order for rolls well in advance for 'rapid pickup,' but when I got there, after driving 15 minutes out of my way, I found that they weren't available. Initially, I was frustrated because I needed them for dinner, but the manager really stepped up. He went out of his way to find a suitable substitute and didn't charge me for my order, all while maintaining a friendly attitude. This is the kind of customer service that is all too rare these days. Although I left feeling a bit disappointed, the overall experience was positive, and I'm more than willing to return. I've always appreciated the hometown feel of this Panera, and my admiration for it remains intact.
The staff and manager at this St. Louis Bread Co. were the friendliest I have ever encountered.
At this place seems to have always a terrible experience. the management and the trainers are not as friendly and do not seem as if they want to work there as well. Moreover, we have from the last 10 orders there only 1 was right! only 1. it is so sad that we love her eating, but they can not seem to get her act together. If they weren't so close, I would never go to this place again. I would recommend to everyone if possible to stay away from it.
I have a young friend I met who worked at three other st. louis bread co sites when we met first. I wrote an original poem for her on Valentine's Day.
