The London Tea Room - Saint Louis

I took my mom, aunt, and grandma to The London Tea Room for Afternoon Tea, and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was delightful, and the waitstaff were exceptional. Each of us chose a different tea, so we had the chance to sample four distinct varieties, all of which were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the different flavors. The food was also fantastic; I especially loved the savory dishes and the scone served with clotted cream and jam. I will definitely be returning!

My friends and I visited this restaurant recently, and we had a fantastic time! We all opted for the afternoon tea, which was served beautifully on a tiered stand, and I enjoyed a lovely pot of valerian root tea. The desserts were delightful; however, if you're not a fan of overly sweet treats, I would recommend swapping the macaroon for a shortbread cookie. My only issue was the large crowd that came in after an event, making the space between tables feel quite cramped. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially when trying to navigate back to the dining area from the restroom, as there was a lot of congestion near the entrance. Overall, though, it was a lovely experience!

My sister and I had a delightful experience with their afternoon and high tea options. Everything was wonderful! Our server, Thomas, was very attentive and answered all our questions promptly. Our favorite was the autumn chicken salad on a croissant. I particularly loved the clotted cream. As a huge fan of The Great British Bake Off, I've always been curious about the taste of clotted cream, and it did not disappoint! Sipping from my personal pot of tea while adding lumps of sugar felt divine. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon outing!

We went for a friend's birthday, and it was quite nice. The tea spread was fantastic, everything tasted good, and the price was fairly reasonable for what you get. The space is very cool as well, and while I didn't care for the high ceilings, as that made the whole place echo quite a lot, the décor was nice and the room itself was beautiful. I haven't seen any of the upstairs rooms, but I hear they're cool as well. We've been getting tea from them for years, but it was my first time at the new location and I have to say that I enjoyed it. We will be returning.

Not worth it. Person at Hostess stand was not friendly and couldn't be bothered by us interrupting what she was doing on her (personal)phone with earbuds in. She walked away from us and got someone else to seat us.
