L'etrave Best Western Alexandra

The restaurant is located on the water, attached to the Best Western Hotel Alexandra. We are staying at the hotel and arrived quite late in the afternoon/evening. We were looking for simplicity, and were pleasantly surprised that we found a hidden gem. (Previous reviews didn’t really encourage us. We ordered crab entree. A stacked appetizer with crabmeat on the bottom, some sort of quinoa layer and avocado on top with a mango garnish. It was fresh, light and delicious. The perfect starter. We had seared scallops and duck as mains. Both wonderful. Scallop dish had all sorts of fresh veg and a few mussels tossed in, with a very light cream sauce. Cheese course with salad and grilled pineapple with coconut ice cream for dessert. The pineapple was good, but wow! That coconut ice cream was so good!! We recommend L’Etrave! A seriously bad experience for the price you pay. we sat down at a table for 5 and were told to go to another table although restaurant was empty . next customers ...3 of them offered that very same table . no smile from waitresses manager not greeting you and smoking in the back pulling a face entrecote small full of fat not cooked as ordered go and walk to intra muros instead

View of the restaurant on the impressive sillon. The staff is very pleasant, helpful and friendly and available. To be recommended.
