Probably due to Covid the menu has shrunk while the prices have increased. The size of my steak had also definitely shrunk. Visited on a Friday for lunch, having just crossed the channel. had been looking forward to my first Courtepaille meal in over 2 years. Decent food but sadly not what it was
Very happy with the meal at this restaurant, we were looking at the outside tables as we had our dog with us when a very friendly waiter/ manager came out to greet us. He invited us to come inside with the dog as it wouldn't be a problem and it was a bit chilly outside. We had the Charcuterie starter and shared a cote de beuf for main course both were excellent as was the carafe of wine and nice cold beers. We finished off with a French coffee each and had a very enjoyable evening. This would not have been possible without the service of the attentive manager.

We therefore were very glad to see this chain restaurant. The menu was comprehensive as was the choice of wines available. I had steak bleu and it was cooked to perfection. The cafe gourmand was a splendid ending to a welcome meal.
