It was wonderful to be warmly welcomed by a very busy lady who was finished with a large number of diners super. we were the only English people in the restaurant and felt completely at home; the dame was very appropriately patient with our French. she got the balance between care for her French diner and care for us right now! the menu was of good size and eating when it arrived was full of taste. it was simply plated, but still looked as good as it tasted. excellent price-performance ratio and very good worth the visit.
4 of us had lunch here as it was the next restaurant to the waterfall. all started well and we got a table on the raised terrace that was shaded. there was a modest choice on the menu and all the other table bar. one were already occupied. I chose the charcuterie plate that was good, the other three, chicken burrows. it became clear that some of the huh was much understated. that was well discovered in the meal, but for the happiness we have not consumed. the meal itself was sufficient in the amount, our friends who only ate half of the chicken, and since we did not want to disturb the meal, we decided to advise the staff of the cooked chicken when the dishes were collected. the answer was very jumpy and we were told in a round that we had returned it for another cooking and a small adjustment to the meal price was not possible. my message to the owner of the auberge de la cascade is that it is their responsibility to ensure that food, in particular, huh, is cooked sufficiently before it is served. if children had eaten chickens in the species as we imagined, there is a serious risk that they would have been quite ill. In addition, the spies on which the hawn was served were heavily soiled/carbonized at the gripping, disproportionately as compared to the hawn on them. I come to the conclusion that the Brochette skewers may not have been properly cleaned if they were used the last time. this auberge is located near the waterfall and there are sufficient free parking close to. the landscape around the auberge is unique and worth a visit. but there are some other restaurants nearby.
The cordial greeting that they receive from the owner is a joy. the restaurant is not so big, so it would recommend to reserve a table before calling. the menu is on board, simply homemade eating, but full of taste. save them space for pudding and...if cream brûlée is on the menu it has.
L’accueil est très sympathique et cordialLe service est aussi rapide que possible et très aimable Les portions sont très généreuses et bonne Les desserts maison sont à tomber Je recommande vivement ce restaurant
