The Galley Restaurant Bar

Ate lunch here today. Crab soup is ok but miniscule portion for the price. Ordered 6 crabmeat stuffed oysters which were good but the menu said crabmeat stuffed oysters $2 so we assumed they 'd cost $12 for 6. The bill came and said $23 for the six oysters. When we questioned it we were told that it was a typo on the menu and the server said they wouldn 't change the bill. Had to complain to the manager who sullenly and without apology changed the bill. We won 't be going back.

Food was good, but.... Wife had crab melt, I ordered crab bene (dict), and we split apple sticky bun. Main issue was service that was lacking and took way too long!!!. Here for lunch at 11:30 and waited over an hour for food. Made point of asking for bill when our food finally came out (after asking for status) so we didn't have to wait another 30 minutes to see our waitress!! Sat outside on porch which was comfortable, but to avoid flies, be sure to ask not to be seated at end of porch by trash dumpster.

We stopped in for lunch. Besides the excessive price for the crab cake, it was small and made from the regular crab meat. No back fun or lump crab meat at all. I’m from Eastern Virginia and this crab cake would be unacceptable anywhere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

We have been waiting for the galley for months. the family got there last night. atmosphere and service were great! the food was under equality and the prices for what we received were insane. we are frequent diners and not to eat when the food guarantees the cost. very disappointed!
