The food here is freshly cooked , varied and includes local ingredients. Local specialities like tartiflette and L'diot, a local sausage are served, as well as fish and duck.
A our opinion a must-have restaurant when you go down to megève or chamonix in addition the prices will be much more affordable. the welcome is warm and family food is succulent we sense the hand of a real cook
We stayed for a week in this charming, small hotel, in beautiful surroundings. Eating in the restaurant was a great pleasure. There's an emphasis on local produce with an international chef producing delicious 4 course dinners. Our hosts, Marie-Claude and Erick were lovely, making us very welcome. Their English is excellent. The person who gave the bad review is obviously confusing this restaurant with another he has visited. I will certainly be going back to L'Eau Vive.
I have eaten here many time over the years and always had exceptional food and service. Staying at the hotel for a week gave us the chance to sample a new 3 course meal each night, and all were superb. Thanks again to Eric and Marie Claude for their friendly and efficient service.
