We came here yesterday and eating was nice. would definitely recommend the pizzas and good worth. the Barman owner spoke excellent English, so communication was a brise. I would definitely look at the return.
We decided to dine here last night at the end of a holiday to France prior to our tunnel crossing. There are many places to eat within the town square however we decided to eat here and found the food plentiful and tasty. The venue...is run by a lovely French lady and her English husband both were good fun and nothing was to much trouble.
We should have realised what we were letting ourselves in for when we walked in. It was a Saturday night and the place was empty! All the other restaurants around were very busy. The steak we ordered was questionable as to what animal it came...from, although the waiter who spoke very good English assured us it was Beef, as he said Horse is now banned from being sold in French restaurants. Others ordered Lasagne this appeared to have been nuked in a microwave. Beers were advertised at 5 euro's on the menu, but when the bill came, were charged at 6 euro's! They say you only get what you pay for, not in this case, you pay more for what you get! I hope to visit St Omer again, but will definitely give this restaurant a miss.
The dinner was delicioux and the waitress was helpful to know that our French language is weak. we just enjoyed our night
