Le Globe Trotter - Saint-Palais-sur-Mer

Typical brasserie in the sea side with perfect location. Service is fair and food is quite good for such high volume touristic place. We can’t expect stars food. Dining place just below an amazing tree. Really reasonable, with prices in line.

We had dinner twice. First time the parrillada of grilled fish contained mostly shellfish and prawns. Second time the grilled bas could have had minutes more on the grill. Nice bistro in the town center

Great location but we were disappointed because of the slow service....it's bad! Oysters were delicious, rest was so-so.

It's a brilliantly-situated restaurant, with an outside space (where we sat), overlooking the town square, with the beach and seafront beyond. We arrived at around to a sparsely occupied Globe. Not sure whether it was because it was the end of the season, but...for whatever reason they weren't serving starters or dessert, which was a shame, frankly. Both of us opted for the bavette at Euros, which came with fries, one of us going for medium, the other medium-rare. They arrived pretty promptly (although we had to swap after two minutes, realising we had one another's), and we tucked in. Not terrible, but pretty tough (a la hanger steak), and not exactly flavoursome I think they could have done better with a Euro steak. There are better restaurants!
