Inadvertently sat down next to one of the co-owners and we talked about how his family had first built the restaurant in 1964! It was great hearing a few stories and learning about the history of the place and how it’s changed over time. Funny enough, I had thought I was ordering from their sister restaurant across the street. Wonderful mistake. The place knows exactly what it needs to be, and it’s a perfectly quirky aesthetic with a real sense of place and personality. That’s all to say, the food was quite tasty and we ordered a variety of things from Tex Mex to traditional fair. It was made all the better by knowing that I was ordering from a local family restaurant.
Nice little restaurant great food good service friendly staff
I live 2 hours away so whenever I am in twin cities I try to stop here even if it means going out of the way and the food is always very good very hot and fresh. I love there house salsa just the right amount of heat
I guess if you can’t get to a Taco Bell there’s always this place… 2 stars for having more than just flour tortillas and hard shells but yikes the al pastor tacos were gross and just mush. Basically inedible
Great deal on Taco Tuesday (after 4pm, see menu) with quick and friendly service.
