Ginkgo Coffeehouse - Saint Paul

After living in the western massachusetts for many years, I was disappointed by the * coffee shops* I found here in the twin cities. to now! the vegan skorone was great, and there were three different veganisable sandwiches I would have ordered for lunch. the internet access is free and the parking was accessible and also free. they have a small toy for sale area with 50-cent small toys for children. while the atmosphere is quite student and it is a good place to do something without being disturbed, people with children can come here and have something to do for the little ones.

Ginkgo Coffeehouse is a local artist, community, and student's gem! The service might be a little slow at times because it does get busy, but believe me the drinks and food are worth the wait. My favorites are the soup of the day, curried chicken salad, and breakfast burrito with salsa and honey. This is one of the few places that offers a Red Miel Latte. It's a tea that gets frothy. Yum! So buy one of their cards for sale, pick one of their perfectly spaced table settings and dream of buying all the fun treats and trinkets they have for sale while writing a friendly card. Because everyone likes to recieve a non bill in the mail. Enjoy!

On a cold snowy night, we were at Gingko's to listen to Hard Landings play jazz. The pain au chocolat was the best I've had since Paris, and the ambience was wonderful. My friend was so pleased with her grilled sandwich that she seriously considered ordering a second one! All in all, a fabulous vibe and a wonderful little spot.

Love that they have an online ordering system. i love breakfast sandwiches and i like all the options they have. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with avocado, cheddar cheese and sausage on a croissant. the croissant was super flacky and yummy. I also like the tundra, and they have lots of non dairy options to select : great vibes inside. prices are much better than groundswell and just as good!

Love this place!!! So many great options on the menu! Gianna recommended the Peanut soup and it was delicious! I will be back again- great ambiance and Chai Tea was one of the best!!! Can't wait to come back for one of the concerts! Love all the plants as well!
