There was also a condiment bar with chili oil, soy sauce, and more. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. No one came to refill our water or check if we needed anything else. I had to get up and request a pitcher of water to refill our cups myself. Additionally, I had to find a staff member to get a second round of meats and vegetables. We were automatically charged a 17% tip, which felt unwarranted given the lack of service besides bringing out our food. They also charged an extra fee for using my credit card. Overall, I really enjoyed the food, but I’m hesitant to return due to the poor service and the extra charges for both the tip and credit card use.
I recently tried a wonderful hot pot at this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The tom yum flavor was my favorite. I appreciated the generous portions of meat and vegetables provided. The thick noodles were also a highlight for me! The service was very friendly, and our server took great care of us, demonstrating excellent customer service. I definitely plan to return to explore other items on the menu besides the hot pot. I apologize for not taking any pictures of the cooked food this time, but I'll be sure to capture some next time!
Wow! This was my first time trying hot pot, and it definitely won't be my last! You get to choose your broth, vegetables, meats, and seafood. They bring a pot of broth to your table on a burner and place the raw ingredients next to you, so you can toss in whatever you’re ready for! There's also a dipping sauce station where you can create your own special sauce. We tried both the plain broth and the spicy one. If you don't enjoy heat, I'd advise against the spicy option! But if you love spicy food, you'll be impressed with the quality of their spicy broth. It has just the right amount of heat to make you sweat, but you can still savor all the delicious flavors. I’ll definitely be back!
Many friends have recommended this restaurant, but the ingredients, taste and price are unsatisfactory. The price for adults is raised to $35.99/person. Marinated Beef, Fresh Beef Tripe and Beef Tripe are good. Bad Reviews: 1. SZE Crispy Pork is notrecommended. It is not crispy at all. It is very hard and seems to have been placed for a long time. The fungus tastes likechewing wood chips, with a sandy texture. 2. We were forced to tip 17% when there were less than four people, and the waiteronly came over to add ice water once, not even the soup in the hot pot, which was almost dry by the end. 3. We were told tocharge a 3% fee when using a credit card, which was not encountered in other Chinese restaurants in the city.
Cooking at your table with friends and family? Enjoy a selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, and broth bases. In the picture, you can see a combination of Tom Yum and a clear "healthy" broth. Unleash your creativity at the sauce bar, where you can try out a variety of sauces and condiments. The menu also features classic appetizers like egg rolls and potstickers. Are you brave enough to try the more unusual options, such as skewers of gizzards and hearts?
