The service was excellent! The atmosphere was exactly as expected. Food was an unseasoned mess! I honestly don't get what the hype is about. There's no seasoning on these chicken strips very little on the fries. You actually NEED the garlic bread to add some type of seasoning or flavor. If you are fine with a bland chicken tender, you will not be disappointed! In my opinion, I am not impressed, but to be fair, my kids love this place and ask to eat there all the time. The kids seem to love it. I will say it was hot and fresh so in all fairness, this review reflects my personal preference. In fact I think I will change this rating to 5 stars instead of 3 because as I states previously
Drive thru is what I usually do. Chicken is very good and never disappoints. Toasted bread and fries round out the combo, I skip the coleslaw and get extra bread. The dipping sauce really makes the meal. Kind of like catsup with fries, just doesn't seem right not to have it. Fed 3 for under $30, getting hard to do that at other fast food options. Lines and waits can be a little long as it is really popular.
14-minute wait in parking lot for 25 finger pack. Seems almost every time since driving thru simce opening at this location, I've been sent to wait in the parking lot. When I line cooked at dine in restaurants, we had 12 minute ticket times. So now tell me, what's so fast about Caines?
I recently tried the mini chicken strip, and wow! I understand that each location can vary, but it seems like the Eagan restaurant has opted for smaller bread and chicken pieces. Meanwhile, prices have gone up, and they've even cut extra pay for closing staff. How can a restaurant that usually has a long line manage to raise prices, reduce portion sizes, and pay employees less? I really feel for the employees; they do an amazing job—always quick and accurate. It's just disappointing to see corporate management taking such steps to boost profits. The food still tastes great, but it would be nice if they had a policy stating that a mini strip shouldn’t count as a full one. That way, customers wouldn't feel so cheated, and they might visit more frequently, benefiting everyone in the long run.
