Roots Roasting - Saint Paul

Fantastic staff and excellent coffee! The owner is passionate and well-informed about coffee. The vibe is very laid-back, with plenty of seating and great music. Plus, they compost everything!

My wife and I visited this coffee shop today, and we were really impressed! It has a lovely atmosphere with large windows, cleanliness, free Wi-Fi, and delightful aromas wafting through the air. The coffee quality was outstanding! We sampled both the Brazilian and Guatemalan brews, and they were freshly roasted and absolutely delicious. This place has quickly become our new favorite local coffee spot! We had a nice chat with Pete, the owner, who turned out to be a really cool guy. Before we left, my 4.5-year-old son even gave him a high five!

The coffee is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful. This place is a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! We will definitely be returning!

Stopped by for the first time over the weekend. Friendly folks, delicious coffee! My only sadness is that Roots doesn't open until 8am I can't stop in on my way to work!
