Subway - Saint Paul

I live underground is always clear and it is close to the children's museum

I visited this store November 19th, 2020. The store hours posted at the time I went to dine at this Subway were until 3 pm. I arrived at 2:20 pm and as soon as I walked in, Nate (the employee working) said he would be closing the dining room in about 5 minutes to clean and get ready for tomorrow. He said I could still order, but my children and I could not eat there. I asked him if the store is open until 3 pm? He said yes, but I am not going to stay 20 minutes after we close to clean. I told him that I have worked at both Subway and Quizno's and the customers can be seated until closing time, and cleaning happens after closing time. He said they do things different here. I told him I would call and talk to the manager or owner, and I plan to do so tomorrow, and he said sure go ahead! I am sure the owner is already having a hard time during the pandemic, and with employees that refuse service to customers, I am sure it doesn't help his/her business. I truly hope that this is not how this owner runs their business and that this employee just needs a readjustment in work ethic. If that is truly how this business is run, I will be sure to tell all my mom friends to avoid this Subway and bring food alternatives for their visit to the Minnesota Children's Museum, because this Subway needs major customer service improvement!

Bread was burnt, i ordered a icy and they said i could not have the one i wanted so i order a different flavor, the guy did not even fill the cup. he also squeezed the cup and there was a hole somewhere that leaked all over my expensive sweatshirt.. i super mad

I like healthy options. lots of spinach and veggies I always get it toasted and I like all the options of bread.
