Coffee Owl Roasters - Saint Petersburg

I enjoyed my visit to this lovely cafe on Griboyedov Channel Embankment street. The hand-brewed coffees were excellent and reasonably priced at 150R for about 300ml. The breakfast was tasty, although a bit small for the price of ~280 R. However, ordering before 1pm gets you a free fresh juice, making it a great deal overall. I will definitely miss this charming cafe with its friendly staff, delicious coffee, and yummy food.

The restaurant offers a beautiful variety of beans, excellent coffee, and very accommodating staff. I really enjoyed the range of beans they had to offer and had a wonderful conversation with the barista about their beans, the unique coffee culture in Russia, and coffee in general. The short cappuccino was also fantastic, with a perfectly pulled shot and well-treated milk. However, I was unsure if the type of milk used was common among most cafes in St. Petersburg.

The coffee here is great! from a guy who knows something or two about coffee. a cappuccino ordered, was properly prepared, balanced, not bitter or too sour, feels like made by a good barista that rival pacific nw, like portland. with other words good. on Wednesday morning was completely empty, I guess the people in st petersburg don't drink a coffee so much.

The coffee was great for takeout, but the seating area was cramped and uncomfortable.

The roastery in Saint Petersburg is incredible. The coffee is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly.
