Nueva Cantina - SAINT PETERSBURG

Absolutely terrible! This restaurant was once a fantastic neighborhood gem, but our recent visit was a huge letdown. The chili relleno was smothered in queso (typically, a chili relleno is stuffed with cheese). To top it off, there was a sauce covering everything, which drowned out any flavor from the chili. The cheese was so sticky that you needed a knife to eat it. The happy hour margarita was disappointingly watered down. On a positive note, the guacamole was quite good. As for the other entrees at our table, while they were edible, they didn't receive rave reviews. Overall, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the margaritas were great! The decor and ambiance were wonderful. We ordered margaritas, short rib tacos, the raging steak burrito, and pollo Serrano – everything was delicious and served in generous portions. You definitely won't leave hungry!

This is a great local restaurant. The only issue is that they informed us they are no longer listed on OpenTable.

Great service and fresh authentic meals . Appreciate the abundant parking available .

First time visit. Food was very good. Husband did not like rice bowl, but I liked my enchiladas.
