Their new menu is not really the best. The oyster po boy tasted like trash. The best thing was the drinks. The food was not the best honestly.
Food was fresh and delicious . Service was good and fast
The menu on open table is very misleading. It is not at all what is actually on the menu. Very disappointing!
Happened to be there during Happy Hour. The House Old Fashioned was a steal for $5, and raw oysters were $1/each. The oysters were absolutely wonderful! Had 2 dozen. They come with all the usual accoutrements (crackers, cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemons and their house-made Mignonette sauce (a tangy balsamic vinaigrette . The fried oyster starter was substantial and delicious. I didn't count, but it felt like about 2 dozen fried oysters. The sauce was tasty (remoulade, maybe? The calamari fries were a yummy surprise. Thick-cut strips from the mantle were tender and satisfying with the same remoulade-type sauce. The House Salad had variety and was lightly dressed with a creamy tangy dressing. Also ordered the Shrimp Alfredo. This was a large portion with a half dozen or so very large shrimp on top and a thick slab of garlic bread. I will definitely be back for more Happy Hour oysters and old-fashioneds! We sat inside which was very comfortable. The noise level was low enough to easily converse. A huge compliment to the chef for a very tight menu. I knew it was going to be wonderful simply because they have a clear focus on food. THANK YOU!!!
