Stack 'n ' Sizzle - SAINT PETERSBURG

A group of eight of us visited this morning since our usual spot in town has closed down. We each ordered different items from the menu, and I have to say, the food was outstanding. The large omelet, delicious burgers, tasty cookies, and perfectly cooked fries were all fantastic. It’s a wonderful place to eat! Our total was $90.00 before tip, and our server, Stephanie, was excellent. This will definitely be our new go-to spot for breakfast when we visit family in St. Pete!

This restaurant serves excellent food! Without a doubt, it has the best omelet and pancakes I've ever tasted. I highly recommend it! Our group of eight enjoyed their meals, and everyone was pleased. Plus, it's quite affordable.

I'm hesitant to return now because while the food is generally okay, it seems to suffer from the high turnover of kitchen staff and changes in ownership. The pancakes, however, are outstanding—definitely the best in St. Pete. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. That said, I don’t think the restaurant can replicate the warm welcome that Zach provided. He played a significant role in helping the restaurant thrive despite the ownership changes, and losing him feels like losing a little piece of the place that I used to love visiting every weekend. I wish the new owners the best of luck and encourage others to check them out, as the food can still be quite delicious. I'm just curious to see where Zach ends up, as he truly enhances the culinary experience.

Great food! The homefries are nice and crispy on the outside. Pancakes were light and fluffy and they offer lots of pancake options. The omelets are huge and packed with flavor. They really want to please here and check frequently to see if all is well. Coffee cups are enormous so you won 't need many, if any, refills. My one and only issue was waiting for the check. Took a little too long. Maybe give out the checks 1/2 way through the meal and just say Take your time, no hurry at all! We wanted to get on with the day and not be stuck inside.
