We went to Ile d'Oleron and stopped in St Pierre for lunch After walking around past a lot of tourist type restaurants we found this little place behind the market What a gem Staff were friendly and helpful and we had the menu du jour 3 courses for 16€ good portion size tasty and well presented Amazing starter rillettes of canard or rillettes of seafood Main was panmentier of lamb (basically shepherds pie with shredded lamb rather than mince) it was delicious Desert was either Charentais cheesecake or Vendee flan both were superb We were amazed that such a small place could supply such wonderful food given there was a party of 14 in eating as well Good quality fresh ingredients makes for good meals a place to revisit when we are back in the area
Excellent restaurant offering fresh slate products (entrances, dishes and desserts). The quality of the products and the good reception are at the meeting. I recommend that we be alone, with friends or family (baby rooms available). shaded terrace
A good restaurant, ideal after a market visit, or after the tour if you have children. The value-for-price ratio is excellent and the portions are quite copyy. The desserts are very successful.
Since June 2022, the Camaraderie has been offering an oleronnais product card, selected from the market merchants for lunch. I spent every day in front of this friendly coffee making my deal. When we saw this, we tried a family meal and we were all delighted with the experience. The oysters were delicious. All our dishes also, up to Melba's fresh fishing for dessert. Nice and efficient service. Thank you, we'll be back!
