Maitre Glacier - Saint-Sauveur

The restaurant is small inside, but they have a nice patio area with bench swings and tables, which is perfect for enjoying a cone on a summer evening. They offer a wide variety of gelato flavors including chocolate and strawberry. I decided to try the grapefruit and dark chocolate flavors. The grapefruit had a nice tangy taste, and the dark chocolate had a good flavor, but neither was exceptional. The pistachio flavor had an odd brown color and was just okay in terms of taste. The maple walnut flavor had walnuts in it, but the maple flavor was lacking. Overall, the flavors were decent but not outstanding.

As someone who is lactose intolerant, I often miss out on enjoying ice cream with my family. However, at this restaurant, I can indulge in their fantastic sorbet selection. I highly suggest trying the raspberry with dark chocolate flavor. The service is also very friendly.

For ice cream lovers, Maître Glacier is a must-visit. They offer a wide variety of choices, including gelato, all of which are of top quality. The place is always busy, but you can easily park at the back of the shop. We absolutely adore this place!

Stay away from this place if you are on a diet because it is SO good you will want to visit every day maybe even twice a day. We popped in here after a meal on a Sunday night and the place was packed...for obvious reasons people know a good thing! We enjoyed our chocolate, Score and cappuccino gelato so much we had to return our second night to enjoy more. If you like ice cream then this is THE place for you!!

Even on a chilly winter days our grand kids insist that we take them to Maitre Glacier. I often avoid taking la rue de la Gare with them as a stop is mandatory. They feature an amazing selection of ice cream and sherbets. Specialty ice...creams for kids. A couple of days ago, we took the gang there. The lady who served us was very friendly and took good care of everyone. I had and amazing raspberry and kiwi sherbet cup. Glad they are back for the spring and summer. Keep-up the good work.
