Despite a somewhat long wait, the BERTOUD dish offers us a farandole of flavors, made with passion in the kitchen. The pizzas are just as delicious. Don't leave before having reserved in this restaurant which welcomes you with warmth and kindness. THANKS. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
We were very well received, both in the bakery and in the restaurant. Very pleasant team. Delicious racket, we weren't able to try the whole menu but it was tempting. Finally, an ice cream is good even in winter! Vegetarian options: Several dishes for vegetarians. See very well marked map. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
They are friendly to your face, but very spiteful and nasty later or when you trigger them somehow. Their food is good, but they act like little children. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
A cheese fondue with a nasty aftertaste. This week we are staying in Saint Sorlain d'Avers. A beautiful week, good sun and friendly people. As a highlight, we celebrated the birthday of one of our friends. To celebrate this happy occasion, we went looking for a birthday cake. A gateau aniversere. After a complicated French conversation with the apparently very friendly baker/owner, we ordered two beautiful and delicious cakes that were well received. During this conversation we discovered that the best man also provided cheese fondue to order. That sounded very nice to us. We order cheese fondue for 10 people and were allowed to pick it up two hours later. Two fondue sets, great cheese and delicious bread. It was a great night. That same evening we discovered the major disadvantage of fondue: cleaning the sets. Three of us started working, but the bottom of the pans had to soak. We didn't get around to finishing this the next day. And we brought it back after two days at 4:30 PM. Clean and complete. So far the good experience. 10 minutes later we were told by security at the supermarket (nice) that one of us was wanted by the police. After telephone contact and several French threats, we find out that he has to report to the station next at 10:00. After a stressful night and good prison jokes, to the station. At the station it turned out to be the theft of two cheese fondue sets. The baker had written down our number incorrectly and filed a report. What a disgrace. We have been asked to have more respect. Especially for the French. We would like to express that we ABSOLUTELY disagree with this. Such a shame, because we loved your nice little business. Tip: do not report it if customers bring you cake, fondue, 50 loaves of bread and coffee and cake. Shame! Update: We were not informed of the basic rules, again communication was difficult! We did not come by to apologize, we came for an apology from the company.
