When dining at Grace Cafe, one must approach their food with a mindset of "it's better than nothing." The quality of their food is not the best, as they use excessive amounts of butter and cream in their chicken noodle soup, which is not healthy. Despite their goal of serving as many people as possible with free food, I was surprised to find expired yogurt being served, with the staff quick to justify that it was still good for a few more days. The pasta salad and lasagna tasted sour and should have been thrown out instead of served. The Grace Cafe seems to rely on the fact that hungry, homeless people will eat anything, as do their catering donors. Instead of consuming expired food, it may be better to visit a food bank for Campbell's soup cans and fresh food.
This amazing restaurant is operated by a compassionate team, making it a valuable asset to the community.
This is hands down the best place to go and eat in Saint thomas.. Friendly people and the good thing is everything is free
