Bacchus Tapas à Vin

I absolutely love the tartare here! The wine and drink selection is fantastic, although they tend to run out of the popular wines quickly. The restaurant has a small and cozy vibe, and the terrace is lovely in the summer. Fabio, the owner, is always very welcoming. I do enjoy the summer atmosphere more than in the winter months; however, I've noticed that when it gets really busy, the staff can struggle to keep up with the crowd. Other than that, the food and drinks have consistently been excellent!

Moreover, the waitress seemed disengaged, spending much of her time texting rather than attending to customers. The food itself was very good, but if the ambiance remains unchanged, we won't be returning. This restaurant has the potential to become the go-to place in Ste-Anne's, but that won't happen with the current atmosphere. My main recommendations for the owner are to play trendy lounge music, ensure the restaurant is warm and inviting, and encourage staff to focus on their tables instead of their phones. Unfortunately, all these elements combined detracted from what could have been a lovely experience.

I'm really disappointed because I initially rated this place 4 stars after my first visit. Unfortunately, it has since declined. I'm giving it half a star for the friendly waitress and another half for the cheese. The service was incredibly slow, and the drinks were terrible. I even overheard one of the waitresses say they were out of certain types of alcohol, yet they were still making drinks without informing their customers. That explains why my drink tasted like lemon juice. We ended up leaving after our first dish because it was so disappointing.

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was a delightful experience. We had a lovely table by the water, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The music was just right, adding to the ambiance. The staff was incredibly friendly and exceptional. The owner greeted us personally, which was a nice touch. The food and organic wine were absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to bring more friends and family to enjoy it again!

The service was inadequate, and the wine selection was disappointing. While the food tasted acceptable, its presentation left much to be desired. Despite requesting a special table for a birthday celebration the night before, no reservation had been made for us. We reiterated our request upon arrival, yet our birthdays were not acknowledged at all. On a positive note, the patio and atmosphere were lovely. Overall, I was not impressed; it didn’t feel like an authentic tapas or wine bar experience.
