Pub Chez Bass - Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

I arrived late one night near closing time, hoping to grab a meal. The owner informed us that the kitchen was already closed, but kindly offered to still serve us. We enjoyed decent food, tasty local beer, fair prices, and excellent service. I highly recommend checking them out.

I stayed in a room on the upper floor. It was difficult to contact the staff – I had questions about check-in but never received a response. The food was good and the service was excellent. One big plus was that they had an electric car charger. The cleanliness was average. Breakfast consisted of toast and peanut butter. The worst part about the room was the lack of air conditioning, making it uncomfortable. I would have been willing to pay an extra $20 per night for a room with more amenities. Overall, I only needed a bed for the night before hitting the road again, and it served its purpose. I would not recommend staying more than one night. I gave it a good rating due to the restaurant and the electric vehicle charger.

Very good restaurant with quality food and drinks across from the shore of the St Lawrence river. Excellent views from the large windows inside and on the riverside patio. A very popular spot especially for evening sunsets. See the photos.

The restaurant is in a fantastic location and the room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We were extremely pleased with our choice and would highly recommend this place.
