Chen's Garden - Saint-Idesbald

About TripAdvisor we came to this restaurant. We chose this because it had the better rating. It opened at 17:30h and we were the first guests. We ordered Ti Pan chicken and baked chicken with pine sauce and 2 glasses of beer. The food was brought and the Ti Pan chicken meat still cooked. It fried and steamed.It looked very good and also tasted very delicious. The chicken in pineapple sauce looked rather inconspicuous. The sauce was not liquid, as is often the case with the sweets. At one of the last pieces of meat we discovered a hair that was baked. We immediately charged it. The service that did not speak English apologised, took one piece of meat and took it to the kitchen. That didn't happen. I disgusted, I couldn't eat the court. I used to eat chicken meat from Ti Pan instead. What really tasted good. With the help of Google, I translated my words into French. And that we want a discount.The operation meant that she had told the kitchen and we would get a glass of beer on the house. We were so surprised that we accepted it and did not insist that the chicken in pineapple was not charged. There was another schnapps on the house. In full glass a naked man was to be seen in the ground. His sexual organ was particularly visible. Tasteless. Something like that doesn't fit a restaurant.

Great food fresh and deliciously made. Friendly service and a little surprise after our meal. For a first time visit to Belgium this made our last evening here a moment to remember. Location is wonderful and easily accessible with public transportation, not far from Villa Monique and the beach

Service really much too slow for an order of loempias and sautéed rice! As much as the establishment was not filled...Woefully it was not bad

Very bad. Three different dishes. In the best case, flavorless but in one, the pork even tasted bad. One star for the fast and friendly service. The food doesn't even deserve a star.
