Barrow Brewing Company - Salado

I've been curious to visit since discovering Evil Catfish at a liquor store in Waco, so today my girlfriend and I made the trip on what turned out to be a very busy day at the brewery. The flight of Evil Catfish, Mystery of the Deep, Texas Vicar Stout was well worth the drive and wait in line. My 4th choice was something I rarely try, a lager. so was my least favorite, but the service and ambiance will be reason for return trips.

Good atmosphere for taking your money, but the beer is average at best and that is what I came for. I did like the other beer/wine bar near by and the coffee at a place called the Strawberry Patch, so it wasn't a wasted trip or I would have given less than 3 stars.

Great service. Large selection beers. My favorite was the cider beer. My daughter and I went on a Saturday afternoon.

Creek don 't rise one of my favorite beers now. Really cool atmosphere and good service.
