Holy Thursday, arrived late from Bilbao Port en route from Ireland to the Algarve. Had booked online and were somehow recognised on sight as we arrive by the lovely lady in charge. Warmly welcomed and advised as regards the amount of food we had ordered..she pointed out that it might be too much for us to eat as the portions were generous. Of course she was correct but we nonetheless ate heartily and enjoyed some very fine Spanish food and Salamanca wine for the first time. This is a very fine and attentive establishment and to be highly recommended. We look forward to returning in the future.
Honestly, I don 't understand the good reviews for this joint. It was one of the worst food I ever had. Terrible food. The Bisteca with alio was paper thin like, the croquetes were still frost and the worst house wine ever. Apart from all this. It is very, very expensive
Fuimos de cena de Navidad y todo un acierto. La comida riquísima y la atención muy buena. En mi caso quería el solomillo menos hecho y me lo volvieron hacer. Un detalle y estaba buenísimo. Una grata sorpresa y totalmente recomendable.
Buen lugar para tomar caña y comer. La lengua cocida al vino excelente.
