Kat was our server and she was friendly and patient with my children. I loved the food, and was even more remarkable of the fact that when she asked about our food, my son actually liked the taste of what he ordered and she ordered something he wanted. Great first experience!
Fun and funky decor combined with friendly service and serious delicious food makes Acme Cafe a new favorite of me. Everything is homemade, including jam, Hollandaise sauce and decadent bakery. I love the reused bowling alley for countertops and Canning Jar lights! I'm back!
I really like the ambience of this nostalgic 1950s style diner. Unfortunately, the food I had lately does not meet expectations. The service was good, but there were only three cartridges when I visited. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. The hutries were good, but the fried steak was well cooked (see picture) and it didn't taste fresh-what could be why it was overcooked. For $18 I expected much better quality food and preparation. Too expensive, Bland overcooked food. It won't come back.
The New England Clam Chowder was really good. I also have the chicken with eggs Benedict. The idea is better than the meal. It just went too much. The cookies and fried chicken were too much for the Hollandaise. I had her eggs envy before and it's really good, that, not so much. The waiting staff was great as usual.
Wow from great customer service to ,Undeniably, the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. In fact I had 2 come back the next day for a second order of the Chix &Waffles. I also took home some sticky buns and a blueberry square. Also Amazing. ??????
