Applebee's Grill - Salem

All televisions had same thing no variety. Waiter had no personality and didn't check on table much. Food was good. And pricing was outstanding as well. Parking lot was rather dirty with trash.

Food was decent but y’all need to fire Marcus. Not only did I have to explain to him what a mich ultra was 3 times? But my tab was $16 and I gave him $9 cash to take off the tab and put the rest on the card and instead he pockets the $9 and leaves me with the $16 check and when I ask him why he didn’t take off the $9 he goes on about how he didn’t know what I said and that he has spontaneously lost $10 dollars and walks off in a hurry and doesn’t come back. Overall very weird service experience

They were out of everything we tried to order. I wanted a steak and my friend wanted chicken tenders. They were out of the steak on the special 2 for 25 and they were out of the chicken tenders. My friend just settled for a burger and I had to pay for a bigger steak because they were out of the one on special. When the food did come out. Which didn 't take a very long time. The mashed potatoes were cold barely warm; for both of us. Onion rings were as well. And my steak was overdone and my friends burger was also cold warm. We were only checked on once and that was for my friend to get mayo for their fries. And it wasn 't from our server. Which our server was from what we could tell the bartender and had the bar booths. The attention clearly was not balanced. We only saw our server again to pay. And before we could discuss our bill a military discount had been applied to our bill. Which took off $6 and some change. Still came out to little over $30 which I originally came prepared to pay. My friend has already served in the military and it just would have been nice to have a conversation about our experience before slapping a military discount on it and sent on our way. But I Guess It 's Applebee 's never know what you 'll get in the neighborhood.

Wife and I came in for a late night meal. I got wings,side of fries and a water, my wife ordered water 4 cheese macaroni with chicken tenders. The restaurant was very slow not many people in our section and they were all waiting on the waiter to give them the bill. We placed our drinks water and meal at the same time. He proceeded to the back not to be seen again for 15 min with our water. Still customers were waiting to get the bill. So my waters are on the table. The customers finally ask the gentleman where the bills were he proceeded to the back again. And brought the bills to them. 20 min later our food came out. My wings were amazing. My wife 's 4 cheese macaroni looked like soup water cheese. Meal says it has bacon in it..and had no flavor and no bacon. The 2 little chicken tenders were okay.. we never seen him again until the end and asked us how it was. My wife responded the 4 cheese macaroni was horrible and and it was left on the plate. He said he was sorry she didn 't like it and blamed it on the cook. No offer to replace it or offer a discount. By the way I never got a refill of water the whole time. . Will not return to this Applebee 's again. Will drive passed and go to McDonald 's where they make up for the mistakes they made.

All you can eat riblets and chicken wings take way too long to come out. The last ones we got were cold. My fries were cold and soggy from sitting in the steak juice. Absolutely not worth what we paid!
