Cary’s Bakeshop- Japanese Bakery

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. What is even more incredible are the amazing people who run it. You won't find kinder people than these ladies. They work so hard and put so much love into making all the food. They can even customize orders ahead of time, and will even stay open late to accommodate customers. The food is perfection. I always order a lot, hoping it will last me the week, but it never does because it's so delicious. If you're looking for the best authentic Japanese food, this is the place to go. I don't make many promises, but you won't regret visiting Cary.

That deserves a review. their baked were to die. it opens around 9 and probably they will be sold out until midday because it is just too good. I want to keep this secret, but I can't believe the world needs to know.

So good. I had a curry roll today and it was amazing. the lemon cake and the custard filled are a regular purchase. make them time to visit.

I wish this bakery was closer to Victoria, BC. A friend brought us to this family-owned bakery in Salem and I was so impressed. The people were lovely and their baked goods were amazing! It felt like we were transported to Japan.

I asked Cary for her recommendation at the bakery, and she suggested I try the cream puff. It was absolutely delicious! The cream was abundant and the pastry was perfect.
