Geppetto's Italian - Salem

Every year, my family takes me to Geppetto's for my birthday, and they always deliver an exceptional experience! From the moment you enter, you're welcomed by the talented pizza makers, and the service is just as fantastic as the food. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the gluten-free pasta and pizza! If you're looking for Italian food in Salem, Geppetto's is definitely the place to choose over The Olive Garden!

I was pleasantly surprised during my recent visit to this restaurant! I hadn't been since before the pandemic, and at that time, I would have given it three stars for being just decent and a place I frequented occasionally. However, they've clearly revamped their menu and significantly enhanced their food quality. I had lunch with a friend today and sat in the bar area. Our waitress was delightful—friendly and incredibly patient as we caught up. When we finally placed our orders (spaghetti and manicotti with salads), the food arrived quickly and was excellent. I also ordered a to-go combo of chicken and mushroom linguine and tortellini Alfredo for my husband, and I couldn’t resist sneaking bites of his dish. I'm excited to dine here again, and next time I plan to bring the whole family!

I ordered a small beef and pepperoni deep dish pizza tonight, and it was ready in just 5 minutes as promised. The pizza was exceptional, loaded with toppings and cheese. It was so satisfying that I even have leftovers for breakfast. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for deep dish pizza in the area!

Absolutely delicious, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they don't skimp on ingredients. The mushroom linguine was creamy and flavorful and packed with mushrooms. The chicken marsala was rich and the wine gave it a beautiful brightness. We went earlyand it got busy fast so don't be in a rush if you're going after 5:30

Taste is subjective, having said that…dont let this review stop you from trying this place. I got a small deep dish. Paid 17 for it, I feel cheated. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Presentation, customer service, clean restaurant, yes toall. Maybe being from a pizza state like New Jersey, makes me evaluate pizzerias at a very high standard. I found it very salty.
