Gilgamesh Brewing - Salem

The food here is consistently delicious, with generous portions and excellent drink options. The staff is friendly, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas feel inviting.

This brewery has a lovely outdoor space that's perfect for hanging out. Unfortunately, they were extremely understaffed during my visit, but we were able to enjoy a beer while waiting to place our food orders. The staff was friendly, despite being short-handed. My friend ordered a margarita, which was excellent, and I enjoyed a selection of their beers. The Mamba was particularly interesting. While none of their beers stood out as spectacular, they were all very good and well-crafted. The food was also excellent. If you're in the Salem area, it's definitely worth a visit.

I had a wonderful evening with my family at this spacious, open restaurant. They offer a wide selection of excellent beers, and you can taste them before making a choice. The food is made with high-quality ingredients and is beautifully presented. While it took a bit of time to get our food after placing our order, this gave us a chance to relax and enjoy each other's company, which we appreciated. The pretzel breadsticks and beer cheese appetizer were absolutely amazing. Our waitress was very attentive. Overall, it's a fantastic place to eat, drink, and enjoy a good time.

We were here a handful of time, and the food is always delicious and the service is great! If you are looking for a rustic place where you want to sit back, relax and drink on a drink (I recommend her yeast wheat), this is a place to try! It is particularly nice to sit outside during spring/summer. We? ve was taken out, and this time we got her green beans appetizer, Mac and cheese, and the Heathen Burger. The green beans are good, but it is a large part that can easily be divided between 4-5 people. The Mac and the cheese are some of the best in the city, although the sauce is not always consistent (sometimes it is perfectly cheesy and sometimes it is a little dry and underwhelming). Her burgers are pretty good, and although I enjoy the Heideburger, it is a bit on the heavier side.

We visited on a brewery tour back in 2014 and we have been returning anytime we are in the Salem area ever since! (pics are from several different visits! Great service and great food! We especially like the outside seating area nearby grounds have a park like feeling. The beers are really good. For food, we stick with the burgers and sandwiches never been disappointed. I would say the only negative is the parking it is an odd shaped lot and it can get busy and be hard to find a spot especially if you drive a bigger vehicle. But it is worth the trouble can't wait to visit again!
