Hawaiian Time - Salem

Dining here is fantastic, but recently they have significantly increased the prices across the entire menu. I feel that it has become unnecessarily expensive.

I understand that there may be extra charges for requests, but charging an additional $1.50 just to select medium spicy during my meal is ridiculous. I’ll choose to eat elsewhere.

We absolutely love this place! The Kahlua pork is always a great choice, but lately, I've developed a fondness for the huli huli chicken. Their mac salad is also fantastic. The service is quick and the staff is always friendly.

Eating is delicious, but it doesn't seem like they care about the customer. a couple of months ago showed up and ordered our favorite plate with sweet. they said they had a big catering order so they wouldn't make any veggies this day. no discount for inconvenience, no excuse. Yesterday my wife said she believed ht. I checked google to see if they were open and it said they were. the 20-minute drive made one and there was a sign on the door that they were short staff and now closed on Monday. I wish they needed three minutes to update their hours on google as it would have saved me 40 minutes round trip.

We loved the Hawaiian time in Eugene and were so excited to have one in West Salem, however the quality and attentiveness is not the same. No more beef, sad but I can live with that. However, prices keep going up but the amount of chicken keeps going down. Some days it’s dryer than a desert and some days it seems fresh. Very inconsistent. My last visit, the chicken was so stringy, I was gagging. I wanted to use them to cater my baby shower, but they never answer the phones and when we went in person she acted like she had no idea they weren’t taking phone calls and said she wondered why no one was calling.. Also, said due to short staff, could not make any bulk orders.
