Yamato Japanese Steak House - Salem

Love the sushi but the last few times I have ordered to go (dining room is STILL closed) I got tons of rice, a few veggies and just a couple pieces of meat. Good food but too expensive for a box of fried rice.

The greatest Japanese steakhouse in Salem. 100000% recommend!!! All the bad things people say about the place, no true. Not true at all. They have wonderful service, amazing food, and even reaally oh so friendly. They work so hard.

Nice little gem of a sushi place in downtown Salem IN. I am not super keen on burger joints, so when I found this sushi place in middle of Salem I was delighted! Love me some salmon and tuna rolls :

I am in town for 2 weeks for work; I have ordered from here several times and it is always fast fresh and very reasonably priced. They have a driver through window for everyone's convenience, especially during covid and these cold temperatures. I am very pleased with everything I have ordered from here.
