Bonchon - Salem

I recently tried Bonchon and was extremely let down. The chicken strips used to be delicious and flavorful, my favorite dish every time I visited. However, now they are just regular chicken tenders with sauce and don't taste the same. I hope they bring back the original chicken strips.

The takoyaki and black bunny at this restaurant are amazing. However, they are quite pricey. The portion sizes are smaller than expected for the high cost, but the flavors make up for it.

We are locals and love sliders. They are my favorite. We deducted a star for the service because they do not allow eating inside. We entered, placed our order, paid, and were told to wait in our car. We parked right in front so they could signal us when the food was ready. They told us to call in 20-25 minutes to check. We waited for 22 minutes before seeing our order ready, but no one waved to us. After calling, we found out our food had been ready for 5 minutes already. It was just a lack of effort and care on their part to communicate when the food was ready.

Really good wings, Korean tacos are great and the fried rice is surprisingly amazing.

Chicken was amazing, but I also got their popcorn shrimp and some pieces were no deveined (had shrimp poop) in them. Also got fries and the box was half empty
