La Gata Carola - Salento

This is a beautiful little restaurant with funky decor and friendly staff. they serve to complete and different variations of the “menu of the day” for under 15k cop (4-5 dollars) feels very local and traditional. highly recommended.

That feels like a local family restaurant, the staff was very friendly and helpful, also with my poor Spanish. and now for eating; it was delicious! I took the suppe of the day and the chicken with saw and mushroom. there is also a...fix menu for 14 mil pesos that my friend took and was also really good. in a personal note, I've been traveling in South America for a long time and it was one of my best meals on the continental. highly recommended!

Very good meal for a good price: menu del dia. comes with suppe, main with beside dishes, juice and dessert. the personal is the nurse and most willing to help and talk about everything. go there if they want a local experience with such a delicious...Meal!

The food here in general is good I think. The platanos and salad were prepared originally and the soup was yummy and different. However, my fillet of fish was a soggy, heated from frozen, breadcrumbed fillet admitted to be so by the owner... SO...weird to have this on the 9 000 Cop menu as an option luckily my boyfriend chose a meat option which was good! She did bring me a different one when i told her it tasted awful (almost off.. and i tried asking for the other fish ootiin but thus was lost in my bad spanish.. Just hope she takes the frozen filket off the menu to avoid getting more reviews like this...

Menus del día por 8000/10000 pesos. Cocina tipica Colombiana, ricas sopas, carnes y pescados. De lo mejor en Salento.
