Dudley's Oldtown - Salinas

This is the ideal place for a fantastic breakfast! Forget about the long waits at those other chains and enjoy perfectly portioned dishes, excellent service, and an authentic café vibe. The food is expertly prepared, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality offered!

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The tuna melt was absolutely delicious. My wife and I shared it along with the chicken fried steak, and we thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. The service was excellent, and the fries were really tasty too.

DATE: July 3, 2021 PARKING: Curbside and a free municipal parking lot behind the restaurant. BATHROOMS: Cleaner than most other restaurants. AMBIANCE: Dudley's is a diner. Nothing fancy here. It's clean and appears to be well maintained.  pretty well lit. Window and near window seating. STAFF: Wait staff are friendly. They're bilingual. MENU: Simple American dishes on menu. Food is prepared to order and portions are reasonable. delicious.  Nothing overpriced here. This is my second visit. I enjoy this diner. Need to bring my woman. it's a breakfast/lunch place closing at 2pm. I would definitely drop in, if only for toast and coffee.

I was in the mood for a quick breakfast, and we definitely got that along with some quality food. The prices were reasonable, and everything was delicious. My wife and I ordered the two-egg breakfast with potatoes, bacon, and toast. My wife enjoyed a large 24oz glass of orange juice, while I had coffee. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the thick-cut bacon was fantastic! We were in a rush to get to work, but we were so glad we stopped in. We left the restaurant discussing when we could come back for another visit.
