Waffles Breakfast Lunch - Salinas

Came in for breakfast today. Was looking forward to a great meal instead there was hair in my food . Yes another was plate was made but there was no discount for the inconvenience. Let alone the girl was still not wearing hair protection.Food: 1/5

Waffle Place in Salinas was great. It reminded me of Golden Waffle which used to be here in Chico.Food: 5/5

Despite the friendly staff and service, i can't rate this place higher because the food was a bit lackluster. The eggs were fine. Toast was fresh and soft. But my steak, although it was cooked correctly, was really fatty and not seasoned well. The country potatoes were the most problematic. No flavor. ?? some were crispy, some were undercooked. Very few pieces of onions or bell pepper. My friend had hash browns, french toast, bacon and eggs. He gives the bacon and hash browns a thumbs up.

The cheeseburger and Philly chicken was good. The service was also excellent. The diner was clean and there were plenty of seats.

They don't close at 3!!! I got there at 1:45 and I was denied to dine in because they close at 2. I've been to other places and they still let me dine in if I'm there 15 minutes before they close.
