Winchells Donuts - Salinas Ca

They used to try to get some of your donut requests. I listed like 4 5 donut types I would like included and received the opposite flavors. I requested jelly filled plain glazed or plain old fashioned etc. And I got coconut, chocolate, chocolate chips and chocolate bar. Kinda feel like I got all the rejected leftover flavors bc they are all unusual. On top of that iced coffee tastes extremely watery. Disappointed.

Used to love this place, but my last bagel had a strange flakey seasoning all over it. It looked like dirt or burnt flakes? When I tried to remove that layer I noticed the cheese underneath on my melt was not melted at all. You could see all the cold cheese shreds just sitting on top. Not sure why the change but it was sad :

I put in the special instructions box, the donuts I wantef and Winchells gave me exactly what I graciously ask for. I am very happy with my order. they place the donuts in the box with much care.
