Punjab Kabab Grill - Salisbury

The customer service was alright, but the Indian food was disappointing. The chicken biryani was the worst I've ever had. The samosas tasted frozen, and the mango lassi was too thick for my liking.

Don't raise your expectations. They remain open primarily due to a lack of competition that caters to a specific clientele. The restaurant is unclean, and the customer service is laughable. The food is rarely fresh and varies significantly depending on who is working in the kitchen.

I ordered butter chicken two weeks ago, and it was completely tasteless—no spice at all. It was the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot coming from an Indian. I won't be spending $13 on butter chicken here again.

Best Desi Restaurant in America I live in Northern Virginia and have tried most Desi restaurants in the area as well as many others in America, nothing comes near Punjab Kabab Grill. Fortunately, I stumbled on my trip to Ocean City when my hotel was in Salisbury, the Hampton Inn. I could get a look at the kitchen, so I can confirm that the food is all fresh and cooked to order how any good food should be. Most importantly, the food was perfectly seasoned and every single dish was delicious, which very rarely happens after my palate. Another bonus, compared to prices elsewhere, the prices here were very reasonable and some items like the Chicken Sheekh Kababab $4 for 2 big addictions) are a complete bargain. I cannot stress how much I recommend this restaurant. I never felt so happy after a meal in a restaurant like I did here. The food was as good as home, which says much given how nitpicky my family is perfect about food. Everyone was very helpful, especially the very sweet lady who works there as waiter, I didn't know to ask for her name). In total, after our meal at Punjab Kabababab and Grill we have exceeded our satisfaction. It really made the trip and now we plan to return to the area, the 3-4 hours drive in, in the future with the sole purpose of eating in this restaurant.

We got chickens curry, goatbiryani, naan and veggie Samosa, and it was excellent taste with the bone in. We go to many Indian restaurants in Houston and this one better quality food. We'll definitely be back when we visit Salisbury. Thanks Punjab Kababab Grill
